    • AstraZeneca (NASDAQ:AZN) said on Thursday its COVID-19 antibody drug cocktail cut the risk of contracting symptomatic illness by 83% in a long-term follow-up, while the therapy also cut the risk of symptoms worsening when given within three days of first symptoms.
    • China Evergrande Group is selling its entire stake in streaming services firm HengTen Network Group for HK$2.13 billion ($273.5 million), as the cash-strapped developer boosts efforts to avoid a debilitating default on its debts.
    • European stock markets are expected to open marginally lower Thursday as investors digest the region’s growing inflationary pressures as well as Thyssenkrupp’s quarterly report.
    • Stock markets stalled on Thursday and safe havens such as government bonds, gold and the yen were supported in Asia, as a hint of uneasiness crept in over the outlook for interest rates and growth, particularly outside of the United States.
    • S&P 500 futures were up 0.1% after the index eased a little bit on Wednesday. European futures were flat after scaling a record peak a day earlier. [.EU][.N]
